Wander down to the nearest village (about 1km away) for your morning croissants, or jump in the car for a 5 minute drive to La Chartre sur le Loir where you'll find a beautiful old market town, criss-crossed by rivers. We are just 20 minutes from junction 26 (Chateau du Loir) of the motorway A28 which runs from Calais to the South of France, past Le Mans and Tours (or 30 minutes if you want to come off at junction 24). The nearest cross channel ferry ports are Caen and Le Havre (approx 2 ½ hours).
